Welcome to Emiliano Zapata Elementary Principal Rosa Gonzalez Vela Our vision is to provide students with an educational experience that inspires and motivates them to be lifelong learners and productive citizens. It is our priority to provide a safe environment that meets the individual needs of each student both academically and socially. Families, teachers, support staff, community members, and administration all play a part in helping our students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Together, we can make a positive difference. A strong partnership between home and school fosters greater success for our children. We encourage parents to communicate with teachers and staff to foster a successful partnership. Welcome to Emiliano Zapata Elementary Principal Rosa Gonzalez Vela We are excited for the opportunity to work with you and your child to provide a safe and productive learning environment. I encourage you to stop in or call me to share ideas, concerns, or questions. I wish your family, and especially your student, great success this school year. Shine Bright and Show Your Zapata Pride!

On December 7, 2022 the Zapata music choir directed by Mr. Pepito, went caroling around the community. The students shared their love for music with commissioner Everardo Villareal, Judges Dr. Sonia Treviño and JJ Peña, the WIC office staff, Theracare Rehabilitation Center and HEB staff and costumers in Palmview. This was a great opportunity for our students to get to meet our wonderful community leaders and at the same time our leaders got to meet and hear our magnificent Zapata choir.
