🌟✨ Zapata Elementary's Character Kid Program Shines Bright! ✨🌟 For nearly 18 years, this incredible initiative—created by campus counselor Mrs. Celinda Olivarez-Polito—has been shaping future leaders and promoting student achievement! 🎓💫 The program empowers 3rd to 5th graders as they’re elected by their peers to serve as class presidents and vice presidents for the entire year. 🗳️👏 With a strong focus on citizenship, respect, and responsibility, these Character Kids set the standard for what great character looks like. 💖🙌 Zapata Elementary’s Character Kid Program continues to inspire, lead, and create a brighter future for our students! 🌟🌈

Students and staff at Zapata Elementary School got into the holiday spirit by participating in the "12 Days of Christmas" event! This year, they spread joy by bringing in festive Christmas socks to wear throughout the season. It was a fun way to celebrate together and show off some holiday cheer.
