Zapata Elementary’s 4th Grade Teacher, Belinda De Hoyos, Receives Texas Teacher License Plate Zapata Elementary is proud to celebrate one of our outstanding educators, Mrs. Belinda De Hoyos, who recently received the Texas Teacher License Plate, a special honor recognizing her dedication to the teaching profession. The award was presented by Dr. Sorensen, our District Superintendent, and LJ Francis, a board member from the Texas Department of Education. The Texas Teacher License Plate is given to educators who have demonstrated a commitment to fostering student growth, excellence, and an inspiring classroom environment. Mrs. De Hoyos, a dedicated 4th-grade teacher, has consistently gone above and beyond to support her students and make learning an exciting, engaging experience.
