Family Reading Night Lights Up Zapata Elementary!
October at Zapata Elementary was all about the magic of reading as our fantastic 3rd grade team hosted a heartwarming Family Reading Night. Parents had the opportunity to share a special read-aloud together with their children. But the adventure didn't stop there. They got to do a hands-on activity to take home. And the icing on the literacy cake? Our incredible School Librarian, Mrs. Lumbreras, opened the doors to the Book Fair! Thank you to all the parents for being a part of this reading event and nurturing the love for reading in the hearts of our students.
