The Cesar Chavez Middle School Band will host a Band Instrument Fitting Day Tuesday, May 16th at the Cesar Chavez Middle School Band Hall from 5-7p.m. Any 5th grade students interested in learning a band instrument for the upcoming 6th grade year will need to attend. No musical experience is required. In an effort to remain transparent, I want to provide you with the necessary information. The TEA's recommendation is based on concerns related to former district employees and the governance practices of the previous board, which did not align with our district's vision of providing educational excellence to our community.
